2023 FABRICAST™ Fabric Collection

The 2023 FABRICAST™ collection features diverse fabric groupings centering on sustainability, performance, and inspiration.

For the sustainability focused portion of the 2023 collection, synthetic fleece alternatives in cotton and wool feature lightweight options in natural and mélange colorations and a knit-to-shape yarn dye abstract patterned athleisure tank top produces no excess cut and sew waste. Woven developments include recycled denim content yarns in a bottom weight twill construction and a laser cut denim with naturally brown colored cotton fiber. The natural attributes of cotton are emphasized by minimal processing of textural French terry variations, a woven jacquard terry, and blanket weight dobby weave.  Lower input dyeing  methods are explored featuring natural dyes and lower impact reactive dyes, and a color resist printing technique reduces chemical inputs.

The performance grouping highlights lightweight, double sided techy cotton and nylon mesh knits, quilted cotton rich flat knits with insulative qualities, and technical knits incorporating a thermoplastic novelty yarn to create 3D textures. Breathability is achieved with ventilating woven shirting weight constructions and double knit pointelles. Brushed mini-ottoman knits and lightweight stretch poplin wovens are enhanced with STORM COTTON™ Technology. Non-denim bottom weight twills have dual functionality with comfort stretch and water resistance.

Cotton fabrics with interesting visual appeal are designed for inspiration, with a focus on texture in jacquard knits and wovens, lightweight dobby weaves, and knit and woven terry fabrics.  High contrast color effects through cross-dyeing and yarn dyes, are showcased in flat knits, circular knits and wovens.
