The 2026 Cotton Breeders Tour, a blend of classroom presentations and field/facility visits, will be held in Lubbock, Texas August 10th - 11th. Starting Monday August 10 at 1pm there will be four classroom presentations covering the Upland cotton pangenome, jassid research, National Cotton Germplasm Collection, and public sector research activities in Lubbock. The following day, Tuesday August 11, will include field and site visits to both private and public research programs in and around Lubbock. A hotel room block at the Cotton Court has been arranged and can be accessed on the hotel tab. Bus transportation will be provided to dinner Monday evening and continue for all activities Tuesday. Meals covered for all participants will be the Monday dinner and Tuesday lunch and dinner. Participants are responsible for their travel to and from Lubbock as well as their hotel expenses.
Please register for the tour and reserve your hotel room by Sunday July 12, 2026 as that is the deadline for both. Tabs are provided for each.
