You are invited to attend a Cotton Incorporated hosted meeting Tuesday July 16th (afternoon/evening) and Wednesday 17th (morning/early afternoon) in Cary. This meeting will be held in lieu of the Cotton Breeders Tour and will feature speakers covering topics with extended Q&A after each.
Confirmed speakers are:

- John Lovell (HudsonAlpha Institute): Pangenome Update
- Mark Messura (Cotton Incorporated): Beyond Breeding: Downstream Challenges Getting Cotton Into Products
- Chris Saski (Clemson University): FOV4 Developments
- Warwick Stiller (CSIRO): A Comprehensive Breeding Program
- Jonathan Wendel (Iowa State University): Domestication, Wild Diversity, and Relevance to Breeding
- Private Industry Panel: What is Needed from Public Sector Scientists
Overnight accommodations (paid by attendees with your credit card) will be at the nearby Embassy Suites and a Tuesday evening dinner will provide ample social opportunity for conversations and discussions with colleagues. Because of your busy schedules, the meeting was planned so most attendees would be away from home for only one night. For those attendees who wish, a Cotton Incorporated walking tour of Building B will be available early Wednesday afternoon along with a light lunch. All attendees must complete the meeting registration below and reserve your overnight accommodations using the link above. The deadline for both is June 16. Note to USDA attendees: the number of rooms available at the government rate is limited to 10, and it is not shown when you use our link. However, do not contact the hotel directly – Cotton Incorporated will do so after you complete both registrations. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
