Depending on the decision aid utilized, you enter information about your specific farming operation and then you are provided a bottom line answer that allows you to play “what if” with certain technologies ranging from the value of your cotton in the CCC loan to irrigation, to yield monitors, to harvesters to government payments. The more specific the information you enter, the better the decision aid will assist you in decisions affecting your profitability.
