Cotton Incorporated’s “stain guru” Norma Keyes now has a new home on TheFabricOfOurLives.com. The revamped section introduces visitors to a quirky animated Norma, who illustrates a handy approach to stain removal. Visitors can also watch Norma in action in the “NormaTV” section, where she hosts webisodes on subjects ranging from thread count to holiday stains.
“Norma Keyes’s knowledge of fabric care is unparalleled,” says Ric Hendee, Vice President, Marketing Services, Cotton Incorporated. “She’s a unique resource, and we want her home on TheFabricOfOurLives.com to reflect that. The new animation is playful, revealing a little bit of Norma’s personality, and the page itself has a retro feel that is in keeping with her character,” Hendee added.
Norma holds center stage in the old fashioned television set, hosting a series of fun and informative webisodes. Below that, the revamped Stain Guide reveals answers to common stain and fabric care-related questions, grouped by category for easy reference.
“Norma’s straightforward and accessible approach to fabric care resonates with women,” says Hendee. “Part of her enduring popularity stems from this ability to provide website visitors with helpful tips on caring for cotton they can really use.”
Cotton Incorporated, funded by U.S. growers of upland cotton and importers of cotton and cotton textile products, is the research and marketing company representing upland cotton. The Program is designed and operated to improve the demand for and profitability of cotton.
