Cotton Incorporated Presents Trend Forecasts, Textile Innovations And Sourcing Expertise At Texworld

As part of its presence at Texworld, Cotton Incorporated will provide attendees with its comprehensive Spring/Summer 2009 color and surface forecasts, examples of the company’s textile technologies that improve cotton’s natural performance properties, and assistance in sourcing cotton for manufacturing needs. Cotton Incorporated, whose mission is to increase the demand for and profitability of cotton, has more than 35 years experience in sharing its knowledge and expertise with every link on the textile supply chain.

Cotton Incorporated’s renowned apparel trend forecasts return to Texworld with two formal presentations of Spring/Summer 2009 trends. The presentations will be held Tuesday, February 19th and Wednesday February 20th at 14:30. Both presentations will take place in Lecture Room No. 3. The Company’s product trend analysts will also preview apparel trends for the Fall/Winter 2009/2010 season. Product trend analysts will be available for consultation at the Cotton Incorporated/Cotton Council International stand, located at J68, Hall 1.

Also at Stand J68, Hall 1, Cotton Incorporated technical experts will be available daily to provide cotton solutions for manufacturers and brands including such trademarked innovations as: STORM DENIM™ (super water-repellent, breathable denim); WICKING WINDOWS™ (enhanced wicking with reduced cling and faster drying) and TOUGH COTTON™ (improved abrasion resistance, fabric strength and good DP rating). Other consumer-friendly textile technologies on the stand: stain repel and release; shrinkage control; color fastness and 100% cotton stretch.
