Linda DeFranco is Director, Fashion Marketing at Cotton Incorporated. In this role, DeFranco oversees the Trend Forecasters who travel worldwide in order to identify the global, cultural and lifestyle trends that influence the direction of textile design and silhouettes at the consumer level. In collaboration with other Cotton Incorporated forecasters, DeFranco presents two interactive presentations each year to designers, manufacturers, retailers, and mills to help them anticipate worldwide trends, including presentations that specialize in denim and the activewear market. Her presentations allow them to plan their production a year and a half to two years in advance.
DeFranco joined Cotton Incorporated in 1999 as Assistant Manager for THE COTTONWORKS® Fabric Library. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University at Albany.
