About the Workshop
The workshop offers hands-on insight into fabric science. Emphasis will be on understanding the relationships between yarn selection and fabric construction as they relate to product performance. The instruction covers the key aspects of yarn selection, design specifications, and the equipment used in fabrication. Presentations include instruction using qualified fabric experts along with the use of animation and video to provide a full understanding of fabric production.
Prerequisites
This is a fundamental level course. Knowledge of woven fabric development is not required.
