Fabric Finishing – Chemical and Physical
About the Workshop
The workshop covers the key components of finished fabric developments using both chemical and physical techniques. The lectures describe these finishing techniques as well as the equipment used. Laboratory exercises test and illustrate processes from the application of desired chemistries and the equipment used to apply these products. Physical finishing techniques demonstrated in the lab include drying, napping, brushing, continuous tumbling, compaction, and numerous garment finishing systems.
