The workshop covers the key components of successful preparation, dyeing, and finishing of cotton substrates. The workshop highlights the relationship between each step and its effect on the characteristics of the final product.


Prerequisites

This is a beginner level workshop; however, a basic knowledge of textile fundamentals would be helpful.

  • Machinery operations of batch and continuous processes.
  • Substrate life cycle.
  • Characteristics of various dyes – reasons for use.
  • Substrate testing and evaluation.
